It's the Mod for Half-Life 1 that started it all off, the Counter Strike Source, the huge community, the Xbox ports, and the Counter Strike 1.6 works perfectly on laptops that date back from the dark ages of 2000, Counter-Strike 1.6, however, is harder than Counter Strike Source in the fact that the hardcore players that are used to 1.6 are not going to switch sides anytime soon. They're staying with GoldSRC (Half-Life 1 Engine)
